Lead Prep & Line Cook

Full Time and Part Time positions available

Benefits: $18/hour + shared tip pool, employee meal and 20% discount on all store items

No super early morning or late nights! Weekend availability is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards

  • Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients and equipment

  • Assist with prep work (washing, chopping, slicing, portioning, etc.)

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the kitchen and workstation

  • Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines

  • Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff

  • Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to management

  • Ensure proper portioning, plating, and presentation

  • Work efficiently with a sense of urgency during busy service periods

  • Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing storage areas

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous professional kitchen or line cook experience preferred, but not required

  • Strong interest in cooking and willingness to learn

  • Understanding of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards

  • Excellent time management and communication skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to consistency

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs

  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
