We’re Anna & Kelsey, nice to meet you!

We’re so excited to introduce Day Boat Cafe - our love letter to the people, flavors, and hardworking spirit of midcoast Maine, inspired by Waldoboro’s historic working waterfront. 

In our past lives we’ve been bartenders, private chefs, whole animal butchers, summer camp cooks, business consultants, dishwashers, line cooks, estate managers, and everything in between. We love good, thoughtfully prepared food shared with our friends and neighbors.

We’re aiming to open our doors in early March 2026 (fingers crossed, knock on wood). Follow along on Instagram and Facebook for updates, and a front-row seat to what it takes for two women with a lot of chutzpah (and a little delusion) to build a restaurant from scratch.
